Until the 1st September, we have received short films from Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, U.K. & Ukraïne.
You can register your film by 30th November 2008.
After moving on from the tenth Festival, we are setting up the machinery for the next FEC Cambrils-Reus. We have achieved the objective of becoming ten years old and now we are grown ups.
We calmly propose to you, then, a mature and professional festival, where the public, students, film directors, programmers and audiovisual creative artists come together: a meeting place where everything that can be seen would find it difficult to reach the commercial circuit. The festival is one of the first shop-window of the year to show the best domestic and European short films produced the previous year.
You cannot only see the films, but also for some years now, the FEC has become a space for reflection and creation of short films, whether through university courses, school sessions, children’s workshops or other parallel activities.
The FEC is a unique festival with two centres: in Cambrils the home-produced short films are shown, and in Reus, the European ones. Moreover, we continue with our usual activities at both events, such as the micro-film competition, the university credit, exhibitions, special sessions, etc.
The spanish competition will be held in Cambrils (Tarragona),
from the 25 to 28 February 2009.
The European competition will be held in Reus (Tarragona),
from the 4 to 7 March 2009.

and this year there is 14,500 euros in prize money!
The XI European Short Film Festival FEC Cambrils-Reus will be from 25th February to 7th March 2009 (Spanish competition in Cambrils: from 25th to 28th February. European competition in Reus: from 4th to 7th March).
