Renowned illustrator and cartoonist, Berberian (Iraq, 1959) started publishing comics in 1984. Since then, he has published extensively with the main French publishers. Most of his books have also been published in Spain. Berberian (along with Dupuy) was awarded the Grand Prix at the 2008 Angoulême Festival.
Film director with an extensive and recognise oeuvre, featuring the films Jamón Jamón (1992), Son de mar (2001) and the recent Di Di Hollywood (2010). His graphic work has also been shown in galleries around the world. Bigas Luna has collaborated with the Festival since its beginning, in 1998.
Malherbe (France, 1979) has been involved in film, circus and theatre festival production and coordination. Since 1999 he has worked on production of the Clermont Ferrand International Short Film Festival (France). He currently also works in production for the Pep Bou company.
Director of short films and documentaries, Monleón has also directed features films Dutchman’s Island (2001), The Bicycle with Pilar Bardem and Sancho Gracia (2006) and most recently The Consul of Sodom with Jordi Mollà and Alex Brendemhül. The last of these three films earned five nominations for the Goya Awards 2009.
Co-founder and co-director of the Brussels International Short Film Festival and the BE Film Festival (Belgium), as well as founder and co-organizer of the entity A soir ... a grain, dedicated to the promotion and difusion of art and cinema in particular.

Born in Barcelona in 1968, Colell directed Dones (Women, 2001), Fragments (2003), 53 Dies D'hivern (53 Days in Winter, 2007) Positius (Positive, 2008) and Elisa K (2010). The last of these was awarded the Special Jury Prize at the most recent edition of the San Sebastian Festival. For more than 10 years, she has lectured at Pompeu Fabra University (UPF).
Co-director of Barcelona’s International Women’s Film Festival since 2004. Coll has run numerous training courses for teaching staff as well as working on various masters and postgraduate courses at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and the University of Barcelona. She is a lecturer in History of Italian Cinema at University of Barcelona.
Current secretary general of the Association of Visual Artists of Catalonia and creator and coordinator of the Platform of Culture for the Arts Council, GuntÃn has also been director of QUAM (1988-1996), as well as vice-chairman and CEO of VEGAP (1997-2002).
A poet and reciter (Barcelona, 1979), Pedrals has taken part in more than 1000 recitals. Winner of several competitions, including the international Osaka (2009). With work published in various publications, he also collaborates with audio-visual media (including Catalunya Radio COM Radio, Ara among others).
Born in Cambrils in 1962. Graduate of Geology at the University of Barcelona in 1985he is currently councillor for Culture, Heritage, Sports and Leisure on Cambrils Town Council, and member of the state jury since 2006.
