23/11/07 | I like shorts! 3rd edition
This is the third edition of the University Workshop “M’agraden curts!” (I like short films!), organised jointly with the Rovira i Virgili University of Tarragona. In this edition we want to give the word to the directors of the short films selected and find out their opinions, the difficulties they encounter and feelings regarding cinema and the world of short films. Vicente Villanueva will initiate the course, who with a video camera and a tight budget, has already won the FEC Cambrils-Reus twice. He will be followed by Eduardo Chapero-Jackson, winner of the prize for the best European short film in 2007 (Alumbramiento). We also have the presence of the Fernando Bernués who will be presenting the film “Kutsidazu bidea, Ixabel (see the specific section about the film). Finally, there will be a round table discussion with the title “La vida és curta. El curt com a destí” (Life is short. The short film as destiny), which will have the participation of three of the directors selected in the European competition, Samuel Tilman, Cyril Paris and Claudine Natkin. All this is complemented by the now traditional breakfast with the directors (see Nice to meet you).
